Awesome Practice today! Very productive and a hell of a good time.
Break out your dancing shoes on Feb. 11. Cabin Fever is going to be playing a full evening at the Sport Center Lounge in Delta. We will be playing for the door, so we need all you "able bodied" people out there to come on down and catch the fever!
Cabin Fever is the only band booked in the Sport Center to date. If the crowd is good, we may be back. We promise you a real good time. It's the first booking of the year for the band and it's going to be a rip roaring good time. Don't miss Out! The band starts at 9:00 PM.

Clay Hemstrom Passed Away.
Clay was an original member of "Cabin Fever Band" in the 80's. Our condolences go out to the Hemstrom family.
Clay Boyd Hemstrom passed from this life on January 13, 2011 at his residence in Austin, Colorado.
He is survived by his son Jacob Hemstrom; his father, Beryl; his mother, Greta; brother, Miles Hemstrom and wife, Nancy, of Gresham, Oregon; brother Van Hemstrom and wife, Carole, of Montrose, Colorado; sister Gail (Shakira) Hemstrom of Ault, Colorado; sister Sarah Hansen and husband, Jeff, of Bend, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
Clay was born in Kremmling, Colorado on February 27, 1957. He spent his childhood and adult life in the vicinity of Olathe, Colorado, where he graduated from Olathe High School in 1975. Clay was an avid outdoorsman, talented musician, and gifted woodworker. He constructed and played many musical instruments over the years, built numerous pieces of furniture, and hunted and fished the length and width of the Uncompahgre Valley. He was a free spirit and was happiest camping, hunting, fishing, or playing music with his friends. He enjoyed being around his family: swapping stories and eating. He will be greatly missed by those he left behind.
A memorial service celebrating Clay’s life will be held at the Pea Green Community Hall on the Fifth of February, 2011 from 1 to 5 PM. Please join us for lunch and music.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pea Green Community Club, in care of Wanda Boyd, 3680 Cedar Road, Delta, Colorado, 81416.
Arrangements are being handled under the care and direction of Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors (970) 240-9870

AWESOME Rehearsal!!
Band practice was one of the most productive rehearsals to date. Awesome day!
We have about 3 more songs nearly ready to add to the song list.
Evan is in talks with the Sport Center and nearly on the verge of getting another booking there. We may have to play for the door there a couple times, but at least we'll be playing. It could work into other gigs.
The Blue Sky in Cedaredge is looking for a band on March 5th for a veteran biker party, that may be a good possibility there too.

Uploaded Music To Reverbnation.
I was finally able to get a couple more songs uploaded to Reverbnation. "Ghost Train" and "Can't You See". Talk about pain in the butt. I'll post more on there later, now that I have an idea of how to do it.

Chad Is Sick Today. No Rehearsal.
Well... Chad is sick again today. Band rehearsal has been postponed until probably next weekend. Bummer.. I was looking forward to getting out and driving on the icy, snow packed roads. Not really.
There was 2" inches of new snow on my fence again this morning. It's supposed to snow some more today and tonight.

Uploading Audio..
I worked most of the day today trying to get the audio extracted from the video that was taken on New Years Eve. I got it done, but the audio isn't the greatest even after I cleaned it up. I posted "Words To Me" on Reverbnation.com. So far, that is the only song that would upload. I will add more when I figure out why they won't upload.

No New Years Video.. Sorry.
I watched the video that was taken on New Years Eve. It definitely wasn't very good. It was too dark and I knew it was going to be, but I thought that maybe the audio would be better. I was wrong. It just wasn't worth editing and posting. Sorry.
I thought that I didn't get any video of "Switchback", but I did get a full set recorded and about 1 3/4 sets of "Cabin Fever".

A New Years Rockin Eve!!
I headed for Olathe about 3:00 PM, fully expecting the roads to be nasty, but they weren't too bad. Just a little icy in spots and only about 17 degrees.
Chad, Evan and I packed up the equipment and headed down to the Sport Center Lounge in Delta. We setup and got the sound going before everyone else got there.
Tonight was the last gig for "Switchback".
Switchback played the first two sets and "Cabin Fever" finished out the night. Both bands did an awesome job and we had a great turnout. "Switchback" definitely went out with a bang. It was a blast!
I hooked up the video camera to record the night, but I only got "Cabin Fever". For some reason I still have a problem pushing the "record" button on the camera. I can't seem to push it hard enough I guess. Oh well, I got Cabin Fever, for the most part.t.
Tonight was the first gig with the 5-string bass. I had a few string issues on the bass, but nothing that anyone noticed. I did all right as long, as I didn't think about the extra string.
Everyone seemed to have a great time. It was a FUN night.
It was 3 below in Delta when I left and 3 above when I got home just before 3:00 AM.
