Sam's Tavern...

Headed for Montrose yesterday for our monthly gig at Sam's Tavern. 

Started playing at 3:00 PM. Not a lot of folks, but about the second set, folks started coming in. We wound up having a pretty good turnout. 

We played an extra set and wrapped up the show at about 8:00 PM. Thanks to everyone who came out! It was a great time and a great turnout!!

Also another big thanks to Sam's Tavern for having us out! We had another great time!!

Played Sam's Tavern Again.

Played another night at Sam's Tavern. We had another awesome time! 

Evan had to take it easy. He had broken a couple ribs on his day job. I think he may have been doin a little wincing through the night. 

We play a few songs that we hadn't touched on in nearly a year. Some of them actually turned out good. 

I think it was our biggest crowd yet.

Throttle and Spur Saloon.

Evan booked us yesterday at the old Sport Center Lounge. It Is now the "The Throttle & Spur Saloon.

The band starts at 7:00 PM on Oct 12. Come on out and join us!!

Played Sam's Tavern this afternoon. A lot bigger crowd this time. It was a great time. Thanks to everyone that came out!

2 New Songs.

Good practice yesterday. Two more new songs will, hopefully soon be added to our list.  "Got A Little Drunk" and "Redneck Crazy". 

We also put a little more time into "Wagon Wheel". With a little bit more playing time, it ought to be one of our best songs.

Played an awesome show at Sam's Tavern in Montrose yesterday. We had an awesome time! Thanks to everyone who came out. We will be back there again on the 21st of September. Looking forward to doing it again!

Cabin Fever Band Party

Played out at the end of David Rd in Olathe last night for the 2nd annual Cabin Fever party. Was a fun time, despite the drizzling rain.

Olathe Sweet Corn Festival/After Party

Played the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival.. It was a last minute throw together this year so there wasn't near the vendors or the people. Nothing like in the past, but we made due.. We couldn't hear each other on stage so that kind of screwed us over, but we got through it ok.

The after party, however was a pretty good success. We got our own equipment setup and things went a lot better. Definitely wore out when we got done.

All and all, a fun weekend anyway..

Delta Elks Lodge.

Played The Elks Lodge in Delta last night.  We had a great time! Thanks to the Delta class of 83 for having us out!!

Corn Festival Is On...

We are playing the Delta Elks Lodge this Saturday night!! Come on out and check us out!!

Cabin Fever Band will take the main stage at 5:00 PM at the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival. We are looking forward to it and I know its going to be a blast.. Come on out and check out the show!!

Possibly A Corn Fest After All

The Corn Festival may still be possible this year. It's looking like it may happen after all. We'll keep you posted if there are any changes.

Evan booked a couple gigs. 

July 20, at the Delta Elks Lodge and August 10 for a private party in Olathe. Ought to be a some good times. Looking forward to it. 

2013 Corn Festival Has Been Cancelled.

The Olathe Sweet Corn Festival has been cancelled this year due to the economy. There is talk of returning in 2014 after rebuilding the festival. 

Cabin Fever was scheduled to play the street dance and the big stage, but that has been cancelled. We hope to return in 2014.  

Pea Green Hall

We played at the old Pea Green Hall last night for a grad party. We had a blast and I think everyone who attended had a great time. 

It was great to be back. It had been a lot of years since we played out at Pea Green. Brought back some great memories.  

They have installed indoor bathrooms, but they haven't installed an air conditioner. It was hot as hell in that building. Just like the old days, folks went outside to have a drink and cool off. 

We started at 7:00 PM and played till a little after 11:00. 

Grad Party This Evening.

Headed out to Chads today for a graduation party. Ought to be a good time.

Played Sam's Tavern this afternoon for their 9 year anniversary. It was a fun day. Everyone seemed to have a great time and are looking forward to us coming back. Can't wait.

Chad booked us a grad party gig on the 18th of May. Should be fun.

Hudson Barn in Olathe.

Played in Olathe last night out at the Hudson Barn. We played 3 sets. Karaoke was the entertainment in between sets. It was a good time.

Short But Productive Rehearsal

Finally had a practice today. We went over some originals.

Practice was short though. Evan was getting the flu, so we decided to call it early. We didn't want to take a chance on getting it.

I stopped by Chads on the way back to Grand Junction. He played a few new originals for me that he has in the works. Could be some good pretty good songs with a little work.
