Montrose Elks Lodge.

Played at the Montrose Elks Lodge last night. We had a great time!

Things had changed since the last time we played there. They had moved the stage around. There was a snack table where the stage used to be.

 

It was the biggest crowd we had in years for an Elks party. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Throttle and Spur Saloon.

Another night at the Throttle and Spur Saloon. 

We setup in near record time. 35 minutes, not including sound check. We had a good mix. 

Kind of a slow start, but picked up. We had a good time. Looking forward to the next time. Thanks to the Throttle and Spur Saloon for having us!!

It rained a little last night while we played. Didn't amount to much, but may have been enough of a factor in our low attendance. Never panned out like the the weatherman predicted. Didn't matter. We all had fun!

Played Sams Tavern last night. It was another great time! Thanks again to Sam's for have us and thanks to everyone for coming out!

Throttle and Spur Saloon 2014 Halloween Party!!

Played in Delta at the Throttle and Spur Saloon for their Halloween party and costume contest. We had a great crowd! The biggest in a long time. Everyone kicked up their heals and had a great time!! Congratulations to the contest winners and thanks to the establishment for having us out! We also had a great time!!

Sam's Tavern.

Played Sam's Tavern again today. We had a pretty good turnout this time and I think everyone had a rip roaring good time. I know we did! Thanks to Sam's for having us out!! Hope to see everyone again the third Saturday of next month!

Played Chads Neon Chile Party..

Went out to Chads house and played for his neon chile party. He had a pretty good turnout.

We setup and played on his front porch. It was definitely a good time!

Thanks to Chad for having us out! Can't wait till next year!!

 

Sam's Tavern..

Played Sam's Tavern once again. We were lacking a crowd for most of the show, but it didn't matter. We still had a good time!

Folks started wandering in about the third set. It was a late start, but turned to be fun.

3rd Annual Cabin Fever Pig Roast.

Headed out to the end of David Rd in Olathe for the 3rd Annual Cabin Fever Pig Roast. We played about 6 sets and a pretty good turnout this year.  It was a very long night with good friends and good food. We had a great time! Hope to see y'all again next year.

Ready to party!! Cabin Fever Band is back at Sam's Tavern today! The party starts at 3:00 PM. 

Nikki's Party!!

Played at Nikki's last night for her annual party on Church St in Olathe. We had a great time!!

The cops showed up earlier than usual. They checked a few IDs, posed for selfies, ate a little and went on their way. I think they even had a good time!

We played from 7:00 till a little after 11:30 PM. 

Thanks to Nikki for having us out!! It was a blast!!

Corn Fest St Dance.

Played on Main St in Olathe last night for the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival Street Dance. It was a great time and a surprisingly great turnout!

Olathe Gigs...

Headed for Olathe Friday, August 1st. Playing on Main St. for the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival Street Dance. We setup at 6:00 PM and start playing at 7:00 till 10:00 PM. Hope there's no rain!

On Saturday, August 2nd, Cabin Fever Band will be playing in Olathe again at Nikki's party at the north end of Church St. We played there last year and it was a great party!! Hoping for the same this year!! I think we will probably start either at 7:00 or 9:00 PM. Not sure yet.

Paonia Cherry Days

Went to Paonia yesterday! Played at the Paonia Cherry Days Festival.  It was a great time and a great crowd. Thanks to Paonia for having us out!

Evelyn Merdese White Passed...

A sad day... Merdese White, Evan Hyde's mother passed away. Our sincerest condolences and prayers go out to Hyde family. Merdese was a long time friend and family member of Cabin Fever Band. She was a big supporter of the band from the beginning. Merdese will be surely missed. RIP

Busted Up Bass Player!

On 5/27/14, I (Kevin Robinson) was involved in an auto accident. I have a broken scapula (shoulder blade) which has pretty much shut me down from doing anything. I broke my tailbone and also a few cuts and bruises.

Due to injuries sustained in the accident, it forces me to cancel or postpone a gig or two in June in order to recover. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Old Chicago.

Setup in the patio area of Old Chicago. We were worried that we might get rained on, but it held out for us. 

We started at 8:30 and played two sets straight through. 

Not much of a turnout. I think there was about 15 people. We had fun though. I think everyone who came out also had a good time. 

We finished at 10:30. 

Sam's Tavern...

Played Sam's Tavern. We hadn't played in a couple of weeks, so we were ready to play and have a good time. That we did. 

The crowd was a little smaller than usual, but I think Montrose was having their graduation today. Folks had other things to do. 

Tore down about 7:30 PM. 

Paonia Cherry Days?

Evan texted me today and asked me what I thought about playing in Paonia for about an hour and a half on July 5th for Paonia Cherry Days. $300 gig. I think it'll be a good time and I thought it was fine. Haven't heard if it's confirmed yet though. I'll find out tomorrow when we play at Sam's Tavern again. I put it on the calendar just in case. 

Booked At Old Chicago.

Evan texted me late last night and told me that we are booked on the 24th of May at Old Chicago in Grand Junction. Band starts at 9:00 PM till 11:00 PM. It'll be our first time in GJ since we've been back together. Looking forward to it. It ought to be a good time!

Sam's Taverns 10 year Anniversary.

Played Sam's Tavern again last night. 

It was their 10 year anniversary. They had a real good turnout. 

They setup a BBQ grill on the sidewalk out the east door. They cooked chicken and ribs. Wasn't too bad. 

We played from 3:00 to about 8:30. A very nice turnout and we had a great time.

Evan booked us again at the Throttle & Spur Saloon on June 7th.

Played the Throttle and Spur Saloon in Delta last night. Started at 8:00 PM

Had a crowd of about 30 or 40 people. Not a bad turnout for that place. Everyone seemed to have a good time and we were not any exception. It was good to be back. It's been awhile.

Finished up a little after 12:00 AM.
